A few days ago, the next chapter in Activision’s best-selling Call of Duty saga was hinted at, featuring an up-close perspective of a soldier wearing head gear. That left people wondering, “So, when are we gonna see the rest of it?” The good news is, not long now.
On its official Twitter page, Activision revealed that the “new era” of Call of Duty would be revealed this Sunday, with some form of trailer or details set to be unveiled. The game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games, who lent a hand with bringing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to the forefront with Infinity Ward a few years back.
Game Informer has already gotten a jump on what’s in store, by revealing a new screenshot, which you can find below. That team should have additional details as well, as part of their forthcoming issue.
We’ll have information as soon as we get it, so keep your fingers crossed, Call of Duty fans!
UPDATE: Apparently, Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey will be featured in the game in some capacity. Activision posted a new video on the Call of Duty Instagram channel where he speaks in front of the camera, albeit briefly. That video can be watched here.
