There are several optional side quests in Remnant 2’s Dark Horizon DLC, and one of them is the Spark questline. Spark is an inquisitive robot eager to explore new worlds. It asks you a series of questions and gives you a task to “get rid of the voice.” In this guide, we will walk you through how to find Spark and complete its entire questline step by step.
All Spark Locations in Remnant 2
You can start the Spark questline after locating the robot, which appears in one of three possible locations. Spark moves between these spots, so its exact position varies.
The sooner you find it, the faster you can trigger the quest line. All of Spark’s potential locations are found in the Withered Necropolis region of N’Erud in Remnant 2.
Near Waylaid Conservatory
In the Waylaid Conservatory, you’ll find a World Stone nearby, along with the Gardener NPC. This should be your first stop when searching for Spark. There’s a glider drone near the Gardener—interact with it and glide down to the lowest left side. Spark will be in the corner there.
Near Dilapidated Auditorium
The second possible location for Spark to spawn starts near the Dilapidated Auditorium World Stone. You’ll see a glider drone positioned at a vantage point with a broken bridge. You need to head towards a small balcony-like opening above the bridge.
First, use the glider drone to reach this spot to get to the top of the bridge. From there, catch another wind draft to launch yourself higher—this should get you to the balcony opening. Once you’re inside, follow the corridor, and you’ll find Spark on the right. Be sure to grab the Nanoplated Armor Set here if you haven’t already done so.
Final Location
The third and final potential location for Spark is also near the Nanoplated Armor Set. After leaving the building, go left and look for a locked door in the corner—Spark can spawn here.
Dialogues to Select While Interacting With Spark
Once you’ve located Spark, regardless of which location it appears in, be sure to exhaust all of its dialogue. Spark is an inquisitive robot interested in exploring new worlds—particularly Earth. For this reason, you should respond positively when Spark asks about going to Earth. In the first interaction, make sure you select the following answers:
- “Would you like to go to Earth with me?”
- “What if I get rid of the voice?”
The term “get rid of the voice,” means you will need to defeat Alepsis-Taura, the final boss of the DLC. To progress the Spark questline, you’ll need to defeat Alepsis-Taura and then return to Spark. Once this is done, interact with the robot again at any location it spawns, as we mentioned above, and this should be your answer:
- “You can come to Earth with me” dialogue option.”
Spark Merchant in Ward 13
Once you’ve completed these steps, head to Ward 13, where Spark will have relocated. At this point, Spark will no longer be an NPC you can chat with—it will have transformed into a merchant selling various mysterious items.
You’ll find Spark just outside the circular platform of the World Stone, near the broken wall.
Collecting New Materials
When you interact with Spark for the first time in Ward 13, you will receive the Alloy Extractor item. This indicates there are certain valuable new items Spark needs you to collect and bring them back to its shop.
Next, you need to revisit all three worlds, Losomn, Yaesha, and N’Erud, and start defeating enemies. You have a high chance of receiving the Ancient Alloy from Yaesha, the Mythril Alloy in Losomn, and the Alien Alloy from N’Erud after receiving the Alloy Extractor from Spark.
How To Unlock Redeemer in Remnant 2
After acquiring all the new materials, thanks to the Alloy Extractor, you need to bring them back to Spark. The times Spark has in store, previously showcased in the robot’s inventory with the ‘???’ sign, will now have proper names. Craft each item by gathering as many Alien Alloys as we mentioned above.
Then, you will need to buy the Rings and Amulets sold by Spark. Once you have purchased enough, the robot will give you the Redeemer weapon in Remnant 2.
Redeemer is a Hand Gun in the game and it comes with a pre-equipped unique weapon mod called ‘Aftermath’. Whenever the wielder uses a Relic, the Redeemer gun absorbs the effect of the equipped Relic, storing it as a launchable payload. Upon firing, the payload will either burst in a 4-meter radius upon contact with a human ally or remain inactive for up to 15 seconds, waiting for an ally to approach. Only one Relic effect can be stored at a time.
That’s everything you need to know to complete the Spark questline in Remnant 2. For more in-depth tips and guides, be sure to check out the How to Unlock Warden Archetype in Remnant 2 guide.
