Life Is Strange Double Exposure Chapter 1 Photo Locations

Like the original Life is Strange, Life is Strange: Double Exposure has a few collectibles for players to look for in each chapter. These are polaroids that are left around the world and can be found by some careful exploration. Here are the locations for all the photos you can collect in Chapter 1 of Life Is Strange Double Exposure.

Life Is Strange Double Exposure Photo Locations for Chapter 1

There are three Polaroid photos players can collect in the first chapter. These are fairly easy to spot, and we’ll walk you through the location for each, and when you can pick them up.

First Polaroid Photo – A Drink to Remember

During the second subchapter, Max and Safi will end up at the Snapping Turtle bar. After conversing for a bit, Max will leave the table and is free to explore the bar.

Make your way to the fireplace, there’s only one in the bar with a pirate illustration on the connected wall.

Continue going right until you see a shelf with a cow painting hung above it. The polaroid is placed on the right edge of the shelf.

Second Polaroid Photo – Things Are Looking Up

After Max, Safi, and Moses enjoy a drink at the rooftop, Max will eventually head down and make her way to the observatory path to find Safi.

Continue along the path until you can take a small left detour.

Go left, and pick up the Polaroid from the ground.

Third Polaroid Photo – Upstairs, Downcast

The final photo of Chapter One can be collected in Max’s arts residence. After Safi’s death, Amanda will check up on Max, and Max has to tidy up the place before her arrival. During this time, you can grab the final polaroid photo from a table next to a telescope.

After you have collected all three photos “A Trick of the Light” achievement will unlock. Each chapter has its own achievement for collecting all the Polaroid photos.

Replay Chapters for Collectibles

If you missed any collectible during your regular playthrough, you can jump back into any chapter, and individual subchapters to explore around, and skip through the dialogue.

You can track the progress of the collectibles by going through the subchapter list and seeing the small photo icon at the bottom right.

These are all the photos you can find in Chapter One of Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, and thankfully, none of these are locked behind some puzzle, or hard-to-reach location. To complete your collection, make sure to grab the photos in Chapter Two of Life is Strange: Double Exposure as well.
