The Dark Horizon expansion is a paid DLC add-on, so players will need to purchase the pack before it can be installed. There are a few ways to get the DLC pack.

Remnant 2 players can either purchase The Dark Horizon DLC by itself, pick up the DLC Bundle, or own the Ultimate Edition of the game. The individual DLC will cost $9.99, while the DLC Bundle will cost $24.99 and includes the previous The Forgotten Kingdom and The Awakened King add-ons.

Remnant 2 players can start The Dark Horizon DLC in the World Settings menu. Once a character is picked, interact with a red World Stone and select the World Settings option at the bottom of the radial menu.

Choose the Reroll Adventure Mode tab under Adventure Mode. Pick The Dark Horizon One Shot and then one of the four difficulties to enable the DLC. This will ensure that players see all the new gameplay and features of the DLC before it gets rolled into the campaign, though this will overwrite any previous Adventure that has already started.

The only location in The Dark Horizon DLC is N’Erud, so choose it and select the first checkpoint to fast travel into the DLC. Players will be able to fast travel back to Ward 13 from any of the World Stones in the DLC to upgrade weapons or purchase supplies.
