Silk is an unbelievably useful item in Black Myth: Wukong’s early game. These are used to upgrade multiple armors, and they are one of the main ways to strengthen your character. However, Silk isn’t easy to find if you don’t know where to find them. You might find one and two from random locations, but when you start needing more, you’ll need a more consistent way to farm Silk. Here’s how to get SIlk in Black Myth: Wukong.
Best Locations to Get Silk Early in Black Myth Wukong
Finding and opening random chests as you explore every nook and cranny when you go through random structures and objects is a great way to get SIlk and other resources you will need in the future. If you want a more consistent way, which might also be the best way to farm Silk, is to smash through as many enemies as you can in chapter two.
These two methods are more conservative since you won’t be spending any resources to get Silk. However, you can also go to the shop.
You can buy Silk at the Secret: Ancient Guanyin Temple – The Grand Chamber if you open up the store at the Keeper’s Shrine. This method is the most deterministic way of farming Silks.
If farming those SIlks isn’t enough, you can go to the Secret: Ancient Guanyin Temple and buy Silk for 600 Will. This isn’t always available, and you only want to spend Will if you really need the Silk. If they are available, you can only buy two Silks for 1,200 Will in total.
For those players who are struggling with Chapter 1’s main boss, you have no choice but to get Silk from the Secret: Ancient Guanyin Temple shop. Buying and using the Silk here will help you get some gear to help you beat the boss. However, you need to ring the three bells to unlock this secret area. You should also look into upgrading your Healing Gourd, giving you better survivability through better healing effects.
