After taking over a 20-year hiatus (it last appeared on the Sega Genesis and SNES in the early 90’s), R.B.I. Baseball will be rounding the bases yet again. MLBAM (Major League Baseball Advanced Media) announced that it would bring the arcade-style game back for mobile platforms, as well as current and next-gen consoles.
No other details were announced about the game as of yet, other than it coming in spring 2014. However, interested fans can head over to the official page and sign up for more information when it’s available.
And in case you’ve never seen the original R.B.I. Baseball in action, here’s some video footage from the original NES release.
