Yesterday, NFL fans in Denver watched the Broncos’ Matt Prater kick a record-setting 64-yard field goal against the Tennessee Titans, in cold weather no less. Final score? Broncos 51, Titans 28.

Here’s the bad news: you probably can’t nail a 64-yeard field goal in Madden NFL 25; wait until next year’s version! On the positive side, you can still make long field goals in EA Sports’ popular game. That said, here are some quick tips that’ll make you Prater-esque. 

  • Make sure you adjust for wind and have the arrow pointed right where you want the ball to go.
  • Press Up just when the kicking meter is full. Any shorter and you may come up slightly short on the kick.
  • Most importantly, make sure the team has a great field goal kicker. You know, like the Denver Broncos.
