How to Get Gosaku’s Armor in Ghost of Tsushima

To get the Gosaku’s Armor, you will need to start The Unbreakable Gosaku Mythic Tale, which becomes available after you unlock the Toyotama region in Act 2. To start the mythic tale, talk to the musician, Yamato, at the southern entrance of Akashima Village in the Akashima Prefecture.

He will tell the tale of a farmer who stole the armor to protect his village from the bandits. After his death, the armor was locked away at a location for which you will need to find six keys to unlock. These keys were given to the farming families in the region, and you will need to liberate the farmsteads from the Mongols to get the keys to unlock the Gosaku’s Armor.

The Unbreakable Gosaku Mythic Tale – All Six Keys Locations

Here are the locations for all six farmsteads where you will find the keys:

Ohama Fishing Village	West of Lake Kunehama in the Tsutsu Prefecture.
Kuta Farmstead	North of Kuta Grasslands in the Ariake Prefecture.
Yagata Farmstead	East of Yagata Forest in the Kashine Prefecture.
Iijima Farmstead	At the eastern edge of the Umugi Prefecture.
Koshimizu Farmstead	North of Kawamata Village in the Kushi Prefecture.

Head to the above locations and free the villagers from Mongols. However, you will need to be careful that the Mongols don’t kill the villagers they have taken hostage. They will kill them if they spot you near the territory. You will need to sneak close to the hostages using stealth before you take on your enemies face-to-face.

After you liberate the village from the Mongols and free the prisoners, you will receive a key to the location where the Gosaku’s Armor is locked away. Liberate all six villages and get the keys to progress further.

You will now see a marker appear on the map in the Akashima Prefecture of the Toyotama region. It leads to the location somewhere in the rice fields where the Gosaku’s Armor is locked away. You will get ambushed by Mongols on your way there.

Defeat the Mongols and follow the stone steps to a locked door. Interact with the door to unlock the secret passage behind. Parkour to the top of the cliff and open the chest to get the Gosaku’s Armor and the Gosaku’s Headband.
