Double Fine is no stranger to indie game development, and now it’s taking the time to celebrate the medium.

The developer has announced that it will host a Day of the Devs event on November 2nd at the Public Works in San Francisco, from 4 to 8 PM. Its latest KickStarter success, the forthcoming Broken Age, will be playable for the first time to the public, and several indie developers will be on hand to talk with.

These include Gaijin Games, the creators of the Runner series; Supergiant, who’s hard at work on the stellar Transistor for PlayStation 4 and PC; and various others. Phil Fish will also be on hand to deliver a “one-of-a-kind DJ set,” and IAm8Bit will have plenty of décor to go around.

Full details on the event can be found here. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and say hey. Oh, and someone high five Tim Schafer for us.
