2K Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming XCOM expansion Enemy Within – and it’s not pretty. You can watch it in its entirety below.
In this new reveal, we learn more about a third faction being introduced to the game – a renegade group known as Exalt. Their intentions are simple – they’re looking to perfect the human race through genetics, and they won’t let anyone – not even actual humans – get in the way of their progress. You’ll trade gunfire with them on more than one occasion as they attempt to overtake areas and shut down your organization.
Exalt has their own special weapons they bring to the cause, along with ruthless tactics that you’ll need to figure out if you want to avoid getting killed on the battlefield.
You’ll be able to see the Exalt in action when Enemy Within releases for PC and Mac as a digital download, and a general console release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, on November 12th.
