Even with The Bureau: XCOM Declassified available on store shelves this week, 2K Games won’t forget about the audience that made last year’s XCOM: Enemy Unknown such a hit.
This week, the company unveiled a new expansion for last year’s game, titled Enemy Within. This content features new soldier abilities that you can expand through alien research, along with new equipment, enemies and the ability to use a mech – because killing aliens with traditional weapons isn’t enough. You’ll also have access to additional resources and tactical challenges in both single player and multiplayer.
The expansion will release on PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Computer owners can add Enemy Within for $30, while console owners can buy the new Commander Edition for $40, which includes the original Enemy Unknown game, along with Slingshot and Elite Solder content packs. No word yet if you can buy the expansion separately.
Look for Enemy Within on November 12th.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown is available now for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
