When and Where to Catch Bream in Stardew Valley

Out of all the fish in Stardew Valley, Bream is one of the easiest to catch. You can find them in Rivers like the Cindersap Forest River or the Pelican Town River after 6:00 PM year-round. Unlike other fish that can only be found in certain seasons or weather conditions, Bream can be found at any time, in any season, provided it is after 6:00 PM. 

Bream can be caught up until 2:00 AM in Stardew Valley, so head down to the River in the evening and fish for as long as you can, and the chances are you will end the night with at least one Bream in your inventory. 

Fishing in Stardew Valley can be a frustrating experience, especially if the fish on your line has a darting behavior pattern. Thankfully, the Bream has a smooth behavior pattern, making it one of the easier varieties to catch. If you’re struggling to catch one, however, using a Trap Bobber or a Training Rod makes the fishing mini-game much easier to handle.

After you’ve got that out of the way, you can use Bream to make fertilizer, meals like Sashimi and Baked Fish, blue dye, or you can use one to create the Fish Shirt at the Sewing Machine in Emily and Haley’s house.
