How to Get to the Glowing Carving in Echoes of the Unknown in Palia

That pool of water is looking really suspicious right now...

Palia might seem like a farming simulator, but in reality, it’s a sprawling puzzle game. Here’s how to reach the glowing carving in the quest Echoes of the Unknown in Palia.

Where is the Glowing Carving in Echoes of the Unknown in Palia? – Answered

Palia will do some light hand-holding with its quests, but there are definitely moments where it steps back and forces you to explore and experiment. And that’s certainly the case in the main quest Echoes of Unknown, when Jira asks you to investigate the glowing carving.

As you might expect, the glowing carving is across the chasm, and just up the stairs you can see before your big jump. And getting to it is likely simpler than you think. Stand at the edge of the gorge, then jump off the cliff by pressing the spacebar. Press and hold space bar again to open your glider and land on the lower floor across the river.

Go through the door to the left, then stay on the ground floor, following the corridor. Eventually, you’ll be able to turn right, where you’ll find yourself in another room with a set of stairs. But, more importantly, you’ll also find a pool of water surrounded by stone. This pool of water is actually a geyser! Simply stand on it and wait. Eventually, it will begin to bubble and the geyser will shoot you up towards the sky.

Use your glider to move forward, and you’ll land on the stairs, which will lead you to the puzzle. Simply move the pieces to reveal the fish, and the constellation will light up.

This, apparently, is the glowing carving Jira could see across the gorge. Despite her glasses, she has great eyesight. And if you like that about her, maybe you should consider romancing her, or doing something more practical, like taking advantage of that underwater river and fish instead. Different areas offer different fish if you’re tired of pulling up nothing but Gillyfins.
