The company announced that it will release the oft-rumored black 3DS XL system in the U.S. market starting next month.  It will still have all the features of the other models, including the analog thumb stick and slip-out stylus.

The system will sell for $169.99 and hits store shelves on August 11th, the same day the company will release Mario and Luigi: Dream Team.
