Last Epoch had a rough launch day due to some server issues, and as an apology, there is a free Autumnal Wrap cloak that players can claim as their own. This guide will cover how you can get the cloak and where to equip it.
How to Equip the Autumnal Wrap Cloak in Last Epoch
Anyone who played Last Epoch around launch day will automatically get access to the free Autumnal Cloak in their appearance inventory. Eleventh Hour Games already confirmed that players who were around during the launch will get the cloak as a gift due to the server issues that have persisted for hours. A specific timeline wasn’t given for when players had to be in the game to get the gift, but it’s a safe bet that anyone who tried to log in will get the cloak.
Unlike some other rewards, there are no extra steps to claim the Autumnal Wrap cloak in Last Epoch. The gift will roll out in batches, so if you don’t see it in your appearance tab yet, you just need to wait after logging in again. Server issues have continued to be an issue on the second day of the 1.0 update, so don’t be too surprised if you are waiting a bit longer for your gift. On the bright side though, the issues are certainly better than they were on day one.
To equip the Autumnal Cloak itself, open up your inventory and select the Appearance tab at the top right of the screen. In this section, you can right-click any of the gear slots to open up your owned styles. Most players will have empty slots for each one. But if you received the free cloak in Last Epoch, it will appear in the back slot. Right-click the back slot and choose the Autumnal Wrap to have it appear on your character.
After you figure out the cloak, don’t get stuck waiting for the Fortress Gardens to load.
