Namco Bandai Updating Pac-Man Championship Edition This Summer

Get ready for new challenges, maps and achievements.

A few years ago, Namco Bandai put a competitive slant on Pac-Man with Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, a game where you achieve high scores while eating the classic dots and ghosts. This summer, the publisher will expand on this concept through an update for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

With Pac-Man Championship Edition DX +, players will be able to add some new maps to the game, including some based on the upcoming animated TV show Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, as well as stages inspired by other arcade classics like Dig-Dug and Rally-X. The update will also improve leaderboard stability and allow you to earn extra Achievements and/or Trophies depending on the platform.

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is available for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
