Six years ago – yes, it’s been that long – Namco Bandai released the initial Pac-Man Championship Edition, which took the classic 80s arcade game and sped it up with new competitive modes and online leaderboards. It has since become a popular favorite across various consoles, and now gamers everywhere can enjoy the ultimate version.
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ is now available for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC/Steam, and features more content than ever before. Along with all the levels from the original game, players get access to new modes, as well as improved leaderboard functionality and a trio of fun new skins based on Namco’s classic Dig-Dug and Rally-X game, as well as Pac-Man’s new CG-animated series.
Those who previously bought either Championship Edition or DX can upgrade to the new content for just a few dollars, while Steam/PC owners can get their chomp on for $9.99.
