How to Respec Your Passive Skills in Last Epoch

Turn back time

Builds in Last Epoch can get extensive, and sometimes you just need to respec your passive skills to take advantage of all your power. Luckily, the process is fairly easy, and I’ll explain how you can get back to the basics in my guide.

Last Epoch – How to Respec Passive Skills

Speak to Chronomancer Lerinne in The Keepers’ Camp to respec your Mastery Points. She is standing to the southwest of the waypoint in the Keepers’ Camp waypoint and is marked by a brain symbol, so she’s hard to miss. When you speak to her, she will give you the option to “Respecialize Mastery Point allocations.”

Mastery Points are just the official name for all the points in your passive or skill trees. If you select the option to respecialize, the passive skill tree will open up, and you can select any of the icons you have unlocked. Early in Last Epoch, respecing a passive skill will cost a measly 10 gold. I was able to afford this right away on a new character.

How to Respec Mastery Points in Last Epoch:

  • Speak to Chronomancer Lerinne in The Keepers’ Camp.
  • Choose the respecialize option.
  • Select the skills you want to change in exchange for gold.

As you get further in the game, there will be more towns that you can utilize for you build needs. That means more locations to find a Chronomancer. All you need to find is the brain symbol that marks a Chronomancer and you will be able to respec the Mastery Points you want to rearrange. Once the 1.0 update goes live, this will be crucial for plenty of players.

Keep in mind that respec costs will get more expensive as you level up. It still won’t be too much to discourage you from trying a new build here and there, but I recommend strategizing how you want the points to play out before committing.

Choosing the best class for beginners can save you some grief with build changes down the road.
