You'll be able to see it all in Nintendo Direct!

Nintendo is moving forward on its plans for a stellar line-up of Wii U games at E3, even though it’s forgoing its usual yearly press conference in favor of smaller showcases.  Today we learned that we could see what it has to offer before the show takes place.

The company will be putting together an Internet-based Nintendo Direct special that will air before E3.  We will get a first look at some stellar Wii U sequels, including the new 3D Mario game from the development team behind Super Mario Galaxy.  In addition, the new Mario Kart will be revealed, as well as first footage from Nintendo and Namco’s combined Super Smash Bros. sequel.

Though this particular Nintendo Direct doesn’t have an air date as of yet, you can expect it to happen just days before the show, similar to what Konami will be doing with its own pre-E3 special.  We’ll let you know once an official broadcast time is announced.

Just give us Smash already Nintendo!  We’ve been itching for some in-office competition…
