If you want to get anywhere in your Warframe exploits, the right mods make all the difference. Here’s how to get the Quickening Mod in Warframe.
Where to Find the Quickening Mod in Warframe
The Quickening Mod has a lot of different places it can be farmed. The best chance is through reaching Rotation C on the Defection mission Memphis, Phobos, which gives a 15% chance to get Quickening. Otherwise, the following Defense missions give an 11.28% chance to drop the Quickening mod on Rotation C:
- Wahiba, Mars
- Zeugma, Phobos
- Cameria, Jupiter
- Piscinas, Saturn
- Malva, Venus
- Gabii, Ceres
If at all possible, I’d suggest farming for the Quickening mod with friends. Hitting Rotation C with Defense and Defection can be shockingly difficult, especially during some of those later runs where enemies can attack your objectives much harder. Random players can work as well, but they need to be working toward Rotation C as well. With any luck, Quickening will be yours.
What Does the Quickening Mod Do?
The Quickening mod, at max rank, provides both 40% Attack Speed and 20% Combo Count Chance to whatever melee weapon you apply to it. While Attack Speed is self-explanatory, Combo Count Chance helps increase that Combo and up the damage of that melee weapon significantly. All of this makes the mod best for fast-hitting melee weapons such as the Reaper Prime or Syam. While I don’t have the mod yet myself, once I do, I’ll likely slap it on my Reaper Prime and increase its damage a ton.
If you’re a big fan of Attack Speed, you can pair Quickening with the Gladiator Vice and Berserker Fury mods to up the Attack Speed of your melee weapon by about 2.4x its base value. I’m not sure I’d run that much Attack Speed over other mods, but if that’s what you want to try, nothing’s stopping you.
