New Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Patch Brings Off-TV Play, Cross-Region Interaction Next Week

It'll be free of charge, so get ready for some great features.

When Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate released last month for Wii U, it brought forth a huge opportunity for Wii U owners to get online and enjoy taking on immense enemies with their friends.  However, it was also missing a couple of vital features to make it a “complete” game.  But don’t worry, Capcom will soon address the issue.

The company is finishing up work on a patch for the Wii U game that will enable you to expand your experience with the game.  On April 16th, you’ll be able to play the game in off-TV fashion through your GamePad and connect with those outside your country through cross-region interaction on the Nintendo Network.  You won’t have to pay an extra dime for this either.

Thanks Capcom, this is exactly what the fans needed.  Excuse me while I grab my sword…

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is available now for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
