Lost Planet 3 Sees Frigid Delay

The battle in the freezing cold will have to wait until the end of Summer.

Capcom is gearing up for what will be an eventful summer, filled with such games as Remember Me, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Resident Evil: Revelations, DuckTales Remastered and Dungeons and Dragons Collection.  However, it looks like Lost Planet 3 is being pushed to the end of the line.

The company has confirmed today that the sequel, which is in development over at Spark Unlimited, has been delayed.  Instead of arriving as previously predicted in late June, it’s now set for a release on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 on August 27th here in the U.S. and three days later in Europe.

There is still a bit of development concern over the sequel, though Capcom states that the reason for the delay boils down to “business reasons”.

We’ll see how it progresses over the Summer…
