Capcom Offering Rewards for Lost Planet 3 Pre-Orders on Steam

Capcom kicked off a new promotional push for its upcoming sequel Lost Planet 3, launching a three-tier pre-order initiative for those who purchase the game on the Steam service.

With enough pre-orders, the publisher will unlock new rewards for the game as new levels are met. The first tier, involving the giveaway of a Freedom Fighters Pack with two Rig upgrades and five multiplayer characters, has already been met, and the program for the second tier is underway.

Here are the remaining rewards:

Tier 2: The Freedom Fighters Pack, plus a Punisher Pack with three long-range weapons and two Rig upgrades.

Tier 3: The Freedom Fighters Pack, the Punisher Pack and digital copies of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Bionic Commando: Rearmed.

These pre-orders are only for Steam at the moment, though it’s possible Capcom could offer console owners their own rewards leading up to the game’s release.

Lost Planet 3 will arrive on August 27th for PC/Steam, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
