Not pony tales or cotton tales, no Duck Tales!

Capcom has announced that WayForward will be remaking Duck Tales.  The game will be a modernized version of the popular NES Duck Tales game

It is believed that Duck Tales Remastered has authentic Disney Character Voices talent, including some from the cartoon TV series.  The game also has hand-drawn sprites, level backgrounds inspired by the TV series and a remastered soundtrack.

As if that wasn’t enough, there are new areas like a museum, the ability to track stats and compare progress via global leaderboards, and Scrooge McDuck’s money bin.  A new tutorial level is designed to help players familiarize themselves with the key pogo jump and cane swing mechanic.

This new Duck Tales will release on PSN, Xbox Live Arcade and the Wii U eShop for $15.  Check out the first trailer for the game here.
