How to Sign Up For the Smite 2 Alpha

If you want to sign up for the Closed Alpha, you’ll want to visit the official SMITE 2 Website and select the Register for Alpha option. It will ask you to select a platform, so it appears that the Closed Alpha test can be done on either Xbox Series consoles, PlayStation 5, or PC. Since the game is running on Unreal Engine 5, it is unlikely that there will be a Switch version available at any time.

When Will the SMITE 2 Closed Alpha Test Take Place?

Alongside the announcement of the game, some details were shared about the Closed Alpha test. Players who are hoping to take control of their favorite Gods once again can do so in Spring 2024 when the Closed Alpha test goes live. The development team is essentially making the game from the ground up since the engine is going from the dated Unreal Engine 3 to the most recent Unreal Engine 5, so to ensure that everything goes well for a proper launch, this test will take place for an undisclosed amount of time to see if players enjoy the new changes.

If you’re hoping to get in on the action, we strongly recommend signing up as quickly as possible, as it is unclear if they’re choosing on a first come-first serve basis, or if it will be randomly selected when it’s time to begin the tests. The faster the better, just in case.

No matter if you’ve logged in thousands of hours into SMITE, or this is the first time you’ll be playing, it’s an interesting take on the MOBA genre and something we’re looking forward to here.
