Telltale Games’ five-episode The Walking Dead series is easily considered one of 2012’s best games, with its in-depth character development and tense situations with the undead. And today, we’ve got good news about the forthcoming next season of the series – you won’t have to wait long for it.
The Walking Dead: Season Two was previously quoted to be coming in fall 2014, according to an interview with Telltale CEO Dan Connors, conducted by Eurogamer. However, Telltale corrected that statement recently, saying, “The current estimated window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all our fans for your continued excitement for Telltale’s series.”
It’s nice to see the series make a comeback so soon, and hopefully this means we’ll be seeing bits and pieces of it at upcoming shows, including E3 and the upcoming PAX East.
The Walking Dead is available now for PC, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network. You can buy it in retail form as well.
