Obviously, Microsoft doesn’t have any shortage on Xbox 360 bundles right now, offering everything from casual Kinect packages to deluxe limited editions, such as the Star Wars Kinect bundle. But some of you just feel like getting a system so you can get right into some good action gaming – and in that regard, Microsoft has just what you need.
The company has begun shipping a “Spring Value Bundle” to stores, retailing for $299 and featuring a plain black Xbox 360 slim system. But it’s what’s included that really counts, and there’s plenty here.
Along with a one-month subscription to the Xbox Live Gold service, as well as a 250 GB hard drive, the bundle also comes with two great games – THQ’s action opus Darksiders II, and a digital download of WB Games’ magnificent comic book epic, Batman: Arkham City. That’s a pretty swell deal if you just feel like beating people to a pulp with style.
The only question now is…who would win in a fight, Death or Batman? Our money’s on Batman. (Sorry, Death.)
The bundle is available at select retailers now, and coming to more soon.
