Ever since its release last summer, Sound Shapes has become one of the more beloved titles for both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, with its simplistic gameplay and its beautiful soundtrack, which actually interacts with the game world. And soon, that world will be expanding.
Queasy Games, the developer of the indie hit title, have announced that it will soon be providing additional downloadable content for Shapes, in the form of new tunes and levels. While details haven’t been announced as to which artists will be taking part in the game, we should know more within the next few weeks.
In addition, a free downloadable patch will be coming to the game, one that will enable users to play with all their downloaded levels within it without having to have an online connection. They’ll be able to access user-created content remotely, though a connection is still required to get the new DLC, obviously. We’ll let you know when the patch goes live.
Sound Shapes is available now for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, through the PlayStation Network. Definitely check it out when you get a chance.
