Rock Band Gets Lovey-Dovey Pack of Songs Next Tuesday

Grab your Valentine and play some tunes with the game's latest update.

We don’t often tout about the awesome Rock Band updates that Harmonix provides for both Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz on Tuesdays, but we’d be crazy if we didn’t talk about this latest update, which is all about “Love” in one form or another.  (Yes, Valentine’s Day is next week – you didn’t forget, right?)

On February 12th, the company will release a four-pack of new songs that will keep you rocking with your beloved (or friends if you prefer), with a variety of favorites.

Leading the pack is REO Speedwagon’s “Keep On Loving You”, a favorite from the 80’s.  Nazareth’s “Love Hurts” is also included, just to remind you that, hey, it just isn’t easy.  Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love” is also thrown in, and will probably make you think of the Coneheads movie, like it did for us.  Finally, if you remember The Karate Kid Part II or just insist that Peter Cetera didn’t “lose it” when he left the band Chicago, you can download “Glory of Love” as well.

All the songs except for “Love Hurts” support the Pro Guitar/Bass expansion for $.99 a pop, as well as keyboards.  You can buy them for $1.99 (160 Microsoft points) apiece.
