Where to Get Invoker’s Cord and Invoker’s Mantle Recipes in WoW SoD

These two recipes are sold by Elynna in Darnassus (Alliance) or Borya in Orgrimmar (Horde). See their locations below:

The recipe isn’t a limited purchase, meaning you can buy more than one if you’re planning on flooding the Auction House hoping to bait anyone silly enough to buy them aftermarket. Note: if you do this, you will not see the light of heaven.

Invoker’s Cord and Invoker’s Mantle Stats and Crafting Materials

The recipes require the following materials to craft:

Invokers Cord: 24 armor, +5 Intellect, Requires Level 25. Increases damage and healing done by up to 7.

  • 3 Bolt of Silk Cloth.
  • 1 Fine Thread.
  • 1 Shadowgem.
  • 1 Gray Dye.

Invokers Mantle: 32 armor, +5 Intellect, Requires Level 25. Increases damage and healing done by up to 7.

  • 4 Bolt of Silk Cloth.
  • 1 Fine Thread.
  • 4 Gray Dye.
  • 4 Blue Dye.

As you can see, the Mantle is.. a lot easier to craft, given it doesn’t require an insanely expensive Shadowgem. The boost to damage and healing is pretty notable, as well. Stacking two of these on any caster or healer would be quite the little boost!

These are bind on equip, meaning you can buy or sell them to other players on the Auction House. If you aren’t a Tailor yourself, you can either find the materials for a friend, or just buy one yourself from another player.

If all this talk of spell boosts has you wanting to respect, why not pop by our Season of Discovery respec costs guide?
