Capcom may still be reeling from the slightly disappointing sales numbers of Resident Evil 6, but that isn’t stopping them from adding new modes into the game.
It was announced today that the company will soon be adding a mode called Siege, coming to all platforms. In it, up to six players will be able to take part in a session, three to a team, where they attempt to save a BSAA rookie agent while the others are creatures trying to finish them off. Following the first round, the players switch teams, between killers and saviors. The mode is expected to release in March for around four bucks.
In addition, the PC version will get a new mode called The Mercenaries: No Mercy. In it, you’ll once again be tackling the familiar Mercenaries mode (from previous games), but with a greater challenge and even more enemies breathing down your neck. The PC version is expected to release fairly soon, and there’s no word whether The Mercenaries mode will come to consoles. Hopefully one day…
