While LEGO Fortnite is a blast to play, the lack of traversal options can be a bit of a sore spot. Thankfully, much like the Battle Royale portion of the game, you can easily throw together a Glider and get from point A to B quickly and efficiently.
How To Craft A Glider in LEGO Fortnite
To craft a glider in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need to bring the following materials to a Crafting Bench that’s been upgraded to rare quality:
- 8 Flexwood Rods
- 4 Wool Fabric
- 6 Silk Fabric
If you’re hoping to get a Glider in LEGO Fortnite, the first thing you’ll need to do is create and upgrade a Crafting Bench to the Rare category. While this may seem daunting to do, you’ll find plenty of materials throughout the world that will allow you to upgrade this bench quickly and efficiently.
Once you have upgraded your bench, it’s time to get to work. To craft the glider, navigate to the menu shown above, and ensure that you have the materials mentioned above.
After creating the Glider, it will pop onto the ground where you can then pick it up and equip it in your inventory. If you’re anything like me, you dived off of the highest point possible without realizing that you needed to equip this item, so make sure that you do it first, otherwise, you could take some pretty significant fall damage.
How To Use The Glider in LEGO Fortnite
To use the Glider, you’ll just need to find a verticle area. Once you jump off of the edge and have it properly equipped, you’ll just need to press the button shown on the screen, and you’ll be gliding toward your new destination. It functions nearly identically to the Battle Royale glider, with one additional caveat: it uses your Stamina. Keep this in mind if you’re running toward the edge before leaping because you’ll get less distance if you do this. Give yourself a breather, or play in Sandbox mode and turn off Stamina if you’re hoping to glide for longer.
