Rocket League has deepened its roots in Fortnite with the introduction of Fortnite Rocket Racing alongside Chapter 5 Season 1. While players can transfer some cars already earned in Rocket League to the game, there are a few ways to add more cars to your locker.
How to Add More Cars in Fortnite Rocket Racing
Fortnite players can get more cars in their lockers by purchasing car bundles in the game’s Item Shop or receiving them by completing levels in the Battle Pass. Both methods will require spending V-Bucks, the game’s premium currency.
There are a few bundles in the game’s Item Shop where players can buy cars to use in both Fortnite Rocket Racing and Rocket League, such as the Diesel and Jäger 619 bundles. These bundles can cost anywhere from 2,000 to 4,000 V-Bucks depending on the bundle.
Players can also receive more cars from the Fortnite Battle Pass. This is entirely based on the season, but the Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass contains the Scorpion vehicle at level 82 and the Society Car at level 86. Earning these cars in Fortnite will also unlock them for Rocket League.
How to Get Fortnite Rocket Racing Cars for Free
Unfortunately, there are no current methods for receiving Rocket Racing cars in Fortnite for free. This does not count players who received cars after syncing their Rocket League inventory with Fortnite.
Players will have to buy cars from the Item Shop or earn them from the Battle Pass to grow their collection. Perhaps Epic Games will give away a car as part of a limited-time event or questline in the future, but that is not true for the launch of the game.
