Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader – How to Restart the Elevator on Eurac V

You'll get my money when you fix this damn elevator!

As you progress through the Eurac V section of Rogue Trader, you’ll come across an interesting conundrum with a broken elevator. Here’s how to restart the elevator on Eurac V.

How to Fix the Elevator Control Rod in Rogue Trader

This quest first appears in Rogue Trader when trying to acquire a new Navigator for your voidship. As you reach Eurac V, you’re required to assist Felek Orsellio in dealing with heretics aboard the station and saving Lady Cassia. To do this, you need to fix an elevator leading up to her location. Once you’re finished speaking with him, head into the adjacent zone through an Athletics check. After dealing with a single enemy battle, you should see a big door at the opposite end of the room. However, it is locked.

To get past this door, you want to head through the door on the East side of the room, then progress through until you come across a console. When interacting with this console, you’ll be able to open numerous doors including the Laboratory. You can also open the nearby Armory by passing a skill check, which contains some nice loot. Once you’ve used it to open the Laboratory, make your way back to the giant (now open) door and head inside.

Once inside, head into the lower level of the Laboratory where you’ll find several machines that can be interacted with. You can handle the puzzle within the Lab itself if you wish, but we’re looking toward the Control Rod prompt. Upon interacting with it, you can return to Felek Orsellio and continue with the mission. I’d also suggest looting around since there’s a surprising amount of loot nearby. Some of it is even used for that Lab puzzle I mentioned.
