The Day Before has had quite a rough launch, but some players worldwide are willing to give it a chance. If you are one of them and want to know if The Day Before has controller support, continue reading.
Can You Play The Day Before With a Controller?
Yes, you can play The Day Before with a controller. The way I see it, the entire UI of the game looks well-adjusted for console players. This is, of course, a foreshadowing of the game’s eventual release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. So, whichever controller you’ve got, it should sit quite well with the game on your PC.
Is it Better to Play The Day Before With the Controller or With a Mouse and a Keyboard?
Before I get torn to pieces by a group of readers, I’ll just say, “To each their own,” and leave it at that. Whatever input device(s) you are used to will probably work better for you in The Day Before.
I will never be capable of playing a first-person or third-person shooter game with a controller (despite being a tournament player of multiple big FPS titles on PC about two decades ago). In the same manner, some players who grew up on Call of Duty on their consoles will not and cannot adapt to Mouse and Keyboard. You don’t need anyone to tell you what to do; pick what makes you feel the best!
When is The Day Before Coming Out on PlayStation and Xbox?
We don’t have an exact release date published by Fntastic, developers of The Day Before, but according to their recent post on social media, they will not make a full release of the game on any platform until they are sure they are presenting the best version of the game. Seems that we’ll need to be excruciatingly patient with this one.
Until then, you may be interested to know what engine is The Day Before using.
