How to Unlock the TAQ Eradicator in MW3

Back in TAQ

The first post-launch weapon to arrive in Modern Warfare 3 is the TAQ Eradicator, and like any other DLC weapon in the past, you have to earn it. But with no new Battle Pass just yet, there’s a new system in place for unlocking these weapons.

How to Get the TAQ Eradicator in Modern Warfare 3

You need to complete five weekly challenges in Week 4 of MW3 to unlock the TAQ Eradicator. Each week, 14 different challenges task you with utilizing random weapons or Conversion Kits. Seven of them are meant for Multiplayer and the other seven can be done in MW3 Zombies with similar requirements.

As long as you complete five of the fourteen challenges across both modes, the new Conversion Kit or weapon is yours. That means you can complete two challenges in Multiplayer and three in MW3 Zombies to reach the five you need. Both modes will usually reflect the same exact weapons and equipment needed in the tasks, but not the kills.

I recommend going for challenges that are based on tasks such as “get hip-fire kills” or “earn headshots with the JAK Raven Kit” so you don’t hit any speedbumps. In week 4, there is even a Zombies challenge that only requires kills with a knife of any kind. If you haven’t been keeping up with the previous weeks to earn the other conversion kits, you’ll want the standard challenges anyway.

When Season 1 drops in MW3, the TAQ Eradicator might leave the Weekly Rotation. In that case, you’ll have to do an entirely separate challenge for the Eradicator alone. But if they remain, then stick to the same plan.

Another tough challenge you can take on includes killing Operators that are affected by your Tactical. Don’t fall behind in this either.
