Special Effects Make-Up Studio Creates Real-Life Corvo Dishonored Mask

Here, take our money. No, really, we need this around the office.

As we take part in the post-Christmas shopping rush, looking for stuff that we don’t need but want anyway (look, automated foot massagers!), we couldn’t help but stumble upon the latest creation from Technically Magic Studios, a special effects make-up studio that specializes in creating technical doodads of wonder that are well worth collecting.

Now why would gamers care about what a special effects studio manages to craft?  Probably because their latest effort is a dazzling recreation of the mask Corvo wears as he slaughters his way across the countryside in Dishonored.  Yes, these guys went out of their way to recreate the mask with fine metal materials, right down to the funky eyepiece (see above) and the custom fit.  It looks wonderful.

Sadly, it’s just for show at the moment, as the studio has no plans to sell the mask on a public front.  But you never know, they might change their minds and decide that the public could use a few more would-be assassins.  Keep an eye on their Facebook page and keep those fingers crossed.
