Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt Confirmed, Coming To Borderlands 2 Next Month

A few days ago, we reported on the rumor that the next DLC for Gearbox Software’s epic sequel Borderlands 2 would focus on Sir Hammerlock, an amusing ally that you meet early on in the game.  Well, today the company went ahead and confirmed it – so prepare to get in the hunting spirit.

Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt will be making its debut on Xbox Live, PC and PlayStation Network starting January 15th, and it’ll set you back 800 Microsoft points, or $9.99.  You’ll find all new terrain to cover traveling across the city of Aegrus, as well as plenty of loot and weapons to find, and new enemies to conquer.  On top of that, the game will feature a new vehicle, a snowspeeder of sorts that allows you to sit at a mounted cannon in the front.  Can’t wait to give it a test drive.
