Resistance Collection Announced for $40

Though it hasn’t always been on the level compared to other shooting series, Resistance still tells an interesting story, an alternative piece of history showing aliens taking over the world in the mid-40’s and 50’s.  And now you can relive it again, as Sony has announced yet another collection headed to the PS3.

The Resistance Collection will contain all three games in the series, including the original Fall of Man, and will also pack all the “best” downloadable content from parts two and three, including the Brutality and Survival Packs.  The package will be sold for $39.99, and will be made available “in the coming weeks,” though a specific date hasn’t been given.

We love the first game, though the second tended to drag on a little bit.  The third was pretty good, though.  If you love alternative first-person shooters, this is one to check out.
