Where to Find the Bolt Cutters in Alan Wake 2

You will get the Bolt Cutters during the third Overlap when you visit the Valhalla Nursing Home while playing as Saga Anderson. During the Overlap, you will go through several hallways to look for a lever to turn on the lights.

The surrounding area changes based on whether the lights are on or off. When you turn on the lights, it will reveal a room which you can enter. Inside the room, you will come across a Tool Cabinet Key when you check the drawers.

Pick up the key and go back to the light switch. Turning off the lights will allow you to see a cabinet appear to your right when in the dark. Use the Tool Cabinet Key to unlock the cabinet. Inside the cabinet will be the Bolt Cutters that you are looking for.

Now that you have the Bolt Cutters, you can open areas that are not accessible due to them being locked off by chain locks. You can also return to the previous locations and get the Cult Stashes that are locked away.
