Three Unobtainable Mounts Are Coming to WoW’s Trading Post

Ghosts of Recruit-A-Friend's past.

Three mounts that, as of right now, are unobtainable are going to be gracing World of Warcraft’s Trading Post sometime in the future. The three mounts, outlined below, were previous rewards from Blizzard’s Recruit-A-Friend campaign, which allows players to invite friends to the game, rewarding both of them with exclusive items.

Here’s what we know of the three previously unobtainable mounts coming to World of Warcraft’s Trading Post.

WoW Dragonflight: Old Recruit-A-Friend Mounts Coming to the Trading Post

The three mounts that have been datamined from the upcoming 10.2’s PTR (courtesy of Wowhead) are as follows:

Swift Zhevra – 550 Trader’s Tender

Spectral Gryphon – 650 Trader’s Tender

Spectral Windrider – 650 Trader’s Tender

It’s important to note that we don’t know exactly when these mounts will appear in the Trading Post, only that they’re (almost certainly) slated to. With that being said, it’s a possibility the prices are subject to change as well. Still, it’s a good thing to be able to earn items from the game’s history that have long since been unobtainable, even if it is to the chagrin of veteran collectors.

If you’ve been keeping up with your Trading Post duties, you might find yourself a bit short on Tender – it’s impossible to buy everything you’d like and have any to spare at all in a given month. Without the ability to earn more, the only option is to rely on bundles sold by Blizzard which contain certain amounts.

There’s still a bit over a week left of spooky month, so why not check out our October Trading Post Guide to see if anything catches your fancy? Or, maybe you’d rather save up and snag all three of these historic mounts? Even in World of Warcraft, it’s a good idea to watch your spending.
