Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 Has Become New IP

While we heard that Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 had evolved back in July, it was still pretty surprising to learn that it has in fact become an altogether new IP.

Randy Pitchford, co-founder and CEO of Gearbox Software spoke at PAX yesterday, saying “they [Gearbox] kind of started to go in a place that started to get a little way from what the core of what the Brothers in Arms brand is all about… it needed to be unshackled.”

We don’t’ know anything else yet but we’ll let you know as soon was we do. Pitchford says the game will be “re-announced” on September 15^th at the Gearbox Community day in Dallas. Don’t touch that dial!
