How to Get Peacekeeper in Starfield

Can you keep the peace between two factions?

While exploring the vast reaches of space, you will inevitably stumble upon several distress beacons and side quests. These require you to land somewhere remote, a unique point of interest usually, and then decimate many miscreants. It’s usually a fun little romp. But none quite compare to Groundpounder. It’s such a fun and memorable side quest in Starfield, and it pays well. Here is how to get Peacekeeper in Starfield.

Where to Get Peacekeeper in Starfield

To get Peacekeeper in Starfield, you’ll have to jump into the Altair Star System, where you will immediately receive a distress beacon from a nearby research station. They’ve come under attack by Spacers and desperately need a helping hand. It’s a relatively long side quest, taking me about an hour to complete. I thought it would be an interesting distraction, a 30-minute adventure, but it became a lengthy and memorable experience.

Upon completing Groundpounders, you’ll receive Peacekeeper as a reward. It’s a potent AA-99 variant.

Peacekeeper Stats and Details

With a high rate of fire and relatively modest damage outpost, Peacekeeper lives up to its name. You can take down enemies relatively quickly, and thanks to the Extended Magazine perk, you rarely run through a magazine, clearing entire rooms. Plus, the AA-99 can equip numerous weapon mods, making it a powerful option for upgrading.

  • Ammunition Type: 11MM Caseless
  • Magazine Size: 50
  • Fire Rate: 112
  • Range: 41

  • Mass: 4.50
  • Value: 18947

It’s a bit of a bulky rifle, but the weight requirement is worth the effort. On my first character, I acquired Peacekeeper relatively early and continued to use it as my primary until I hit NG+. It scales well, especially with Ballistics and Rifle Certification, so invest a few points into both to boost that damage even further.
