How to Get Feebas in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

I wish, I wish I was a fish.

While Feebas may be one of the ugliest Pokemon available in any generation of games, its evolution is a sight to behold. Since its introduction in Generation III, fans have been searching for this particularly fishy Pokemon to help it evolve into Milotic. This beautiful creature is the object of envy for plenty of trainers, so knowing where to get its pre-evolution form in Scarlet and Violet is rather essential. Let’s head to Katikami and start looking for this exotic aquatic Pokemon.

Where Is Feebas In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

If you’re hoping to get your hands on some Feebas, you’ll want to make your way to the Crystal Pool at the top of the mountain. If you have already visited this location during the Story mode, you’ll have a fast-travel spot unlocked here. Thankfully, they are not version-specific, so anybody can find this unique creature.

Once you arrive, you’ll find plenty of Pokemon available to capture here, so make sure you’ve stocked up on plenty of Pokeballs and items before you embark on the next part of this journey. While at the Crystal Pool location, you’ll want to search for a small cave leading to Oni Mountain, located to the southwest.

Once you find the cave opening, you’ll want to head inside and jump to the bottom of this vertical cave. You can either hop down each of the platforms that are inside, or you can do what I did and plummet toward the bottom of the cave to get there as quickly as possible.

Once you have made your way inside, you’ll want to head down the hallway toward the large pool of water. Typically, these ponds are full of the wrong type of fish, but maybe you’ll get lucky enough to encounter a mass outbreak of Feebas.

Once you have found them swimming in the murky water below, engage them in a Pokemon battle, and they’ll be yours to capture. They’re very easy to catch, no matter the type of Ball that you are using, so don’t worry too much about a struggle here.

There you have it: a new Pokemon to add to your crew. Get ready to work toward evolving your Feebas into the more battle-capable Milotic, and find plenty of new friends on this adventure to Japan. No matter if you’re hoping to find the inspiration for the Teal Mask, or you just need some help making your way around this new area, be sure to check out our Pokemon section below for helpful tips and tricks to make this expansion all the more exciting.
