Learn these new Smoke Lineups on CS2 Inferno.

While the old maps are being ported from CSGO to CS2, some have been completely overhauled with new visual changes and other improvements. However, only two maps have been added to the CS2 Beta that have received a complete rework, and Inferno is one of them.

With these updates to the map, a lot of the Smoke Grenade lineups on Inferno from CSGO are now obsolete. Smoke Grenades play a crucial part in the outcome of the match, and every player should know some smoke lineups to push sites or defend them. This is why we have come up with a guide on all the essential smokes you should know about, where we will teach you the new lineups for smokes all over the map.

New CS2 Inferno Smokes You Must Know

Below are the essential smokes you should learn on the new Inferno in CS2:

Banana to CT Smoke

Stand next to the bright red door on the banana and aim at the corner of the ledge, as you can see from the picture. Throw the smoke using the Left-Mouse Button for a simple CT smoke. It will cover the CT spawn site and block the vision of the boosted players.

From the same position, aim your crosshair at the lightbulb, as you can see in the picture, and throw the smoke with the Left-Mouse Button to smoke Coffins.

Stand next to the bright red door on Second Mid for this smoke. Aim at the right side of the line under the third window and move your crosshair to the edge of the wall. Jump throw the smoke by pressing the Jump and Left-Mouse Button simultaneously, and the smoke grenade will land on the left side of the top of mid.

Position yourself in the corner of the underpass, as you can see in the picture, and crouch down. Aim towards the leftmost spike coming out from the roof of the building right in front of you. Now, stand up and jump-throw the smoke. It will land on the truck under Apartments and block the view from A site.

Big and Small Pit Smoke From Middle Underpass

While standing in the previous position, aim at the same spike while standing and jump-throw the smoke. It will land in front of the Pit and block the view of A Short from there.

Big Pit Smoke From Middle

Stand in the corner of the wall where the garbage bags are in Middle and aim at the bottom of the Satellite on the wall in front of you. Jump-throw the smoke, and it will land in the Big Pit, forcing the enemy to get out of that position.

Deep Mid Smoke From CT

Stand next to the picture frame in CT and aim your crosshair to the top left of the edge of the roof in front of you. Once in position, press W and Jump-throw together to throw the smoke in Deep Middle and block the vision of enemies at T Ramp.

You can use this smoke at the start of the round for one of your teammates to rush Second Mid without getting spotted by the enemies.

T Ramp Smoke From CT

This smoke position is almost the same as the previous one, with the only difference being that you need to aim straight at the edge of the roof. Run and Jump-throw the smoke, and it will land on T Ramp, blocking vision from Mid and Banana.

Stand on the corner wall near the Church entrance and aim at the bottom of the antenna. Throw the smoke using Jump-throw, and it will land at the bottom Banana near the T Ramp.

Stand at the bottom of Coffins and place your crosshair on the outer edge of the antenna, as you can see in the picture. Jump-throw the smoke, and it will land on a ledge near T Ramp and block the vision of players rushing Banana from there.

This is the same as the previous smoke but from a different position. Stand in the corner next to the Library Door and aim to the left of the two flower pots on the balcony to your right. Run forward till your crosshair reaches the bottom of the window on the wall in front of you and Jump-throw. The smoke grenade will land on the ledge above T Ramp.

These are all the essential smoke grenades on the new Inferno in CS2. With time, more unique lineups and smoke spots will get discovered by the players, which we will keep adding over time.
