Shooting is an expensive hobby.

If you’ve ever played a Bethesda game like Starfield, then you know ammo is an immensely important resource that shouldn’t be left unchecked. There are a lot of places where you can buy ammo in Starfield, but the most convenient place is Centaurian Arsenal in New Atlantis. The store can be found by fast-traveling to the Residential District. You’ll be able to see Centaurian within viewing distance, across from the Apollo Tower and to the left of Mercury Tower. Head inside and speak to the clerk, who will be selling just about every type of ammo you can think of.

If going to New Atlantis isn’t possible due to some sort of massive bounty or something along those lines, then there is an alternative that works just as well. If you fast-travel to Akila City in the Cheyenne system and make your way through the front gate, you’ll find Rowland Arms as the second store on your left. Speak with Belle Rowland inside, and she’ll have plenty on offer similar to Centaurian.

  • .43 MI Array
  • .43 Ultramag
  • .45 Caliber ACP
  • .50 Caliber Caseless
  • .50 MI Array
  • 1.5KV LZR Cartridge
  • 11mm Caseless
  • 12.5mm ST Rivet
  • 15×25 CLL Shotgun Shell

  • 40mm XPL

  • 7.62x39mm

Keep in mind that select weapons may have their ammo listed differently than ammo in the shop. For example, the Razorback pistol takes 7.5mm, when 7.5mm Whitehot is the same thing.

Let’s say you run out of money and can’t buy any more ammo. That isn’t a huge problem, since you can also hunt for ammo throughout the universe.
