Where to Find Sanctum Universum Chest in Starfield – Location Guide

There are plenty of beginning traits to pick from in Starfield. If you’ve chosen the Raised Universum trait, you’ll be rewarded with a chest filled with some early-game items; you just have to find it first. Here’s where to find the Sanctum Universum chest in Starfield.

Sanctum Universum Chest Location in Starfield

To find the Sanctum Universum chest in Starfield, you need to head to New Atlantis, which unlocks after completing the first main quest of the game. You’ll then need to head to the Sanctum Universum church, which is located right next to Gal Bank in the Commercial district. Below, you’ll find an image of the building.

You can’t miss the giant ornate gold roof of this building. Head to the commercial district, look for the Gal Bank green sign overhead and then walk to the right to find the Sanctum Universum building.

Head inside and immediately make a left right past the office. You’ll find the chest sitting right outside the door.

Is the Sanctum Universum Chest Worth It?

Picking the Raised Universum trait in Starfield ultimately leads you to this chest with some extra goodies but nothing that is that great. You get some religious texts, healing items, and a sick green poncho. I’m wearing the white version in the image above. However, you can also just buy that poncho in New Atlantis for a few hundred credits.

The chest is worth picking up if you’ve already picked the Raised Universum trait, but I wouldn’t recommend picking that trait in the beginning. You can also have unique dialogue options with members of the church, but I’ve yet to see that play out in any exciting way.
