Remnant 2: How to Get the Crescent Moon Bow

Beautiful, if the noise while wielding is a little annoying.

While traversing through the many beautiful worlds of Remnant 2, chances are you’re going to find a ton of secrets. Some of these turn out to be the mandatory path leaving you scratching your head at times, while others are well off the beaten path but reward you handsomely. One such reward has a rather unorthodox way of obtaining it. Here’s how to get the Crescent Moon Bow in Remnant 2.

Where to Find the Crescent Moon Bow in Remnant 2

Before you can go hunting for the Crescent Moon Bow, you’ll first need the Dreamcatcher melee weapon. To get it, you’ll want to head to the Asylum in Losomn and find the three Stone-Carved Dolls. These are located on the first floor, third floor, and in the courtyard and aren’t too hard to spot. Bring those dolls to the lady in the basement and give them to her. Then, open her cell with the required key (also found on the third floor) to get the Nightweaver Stone Doll. Take that doll to the web within the dream dimension (accessed through the Losomn story) to get the Dreamcatcher.

With the Dreamcatcher equipped, head to the Nimue’s Retreat Worldstone in Losomn. You want to be there when she’s sleeping, then hit the blue band on her wrist with a light attack. This will extract the Nimue’s Dream consumable. Use that consumable in a quick slot to be teleported to a weird, ancestral plane. You’ll want to walk around until you see a blue crystal, which you’ll want to walk up to and pick up to get the Anamy’s Echo material.

With those convoluted steps out of the way, bring the material to McCabe in Ward 13 and spend the necessary resources to get the Crescent Moon bow. Besides having the beauty of Nimue herself and the comical side of a Destiny 2 bow, you’ll also get access to the Moonlight Barrage mod.

This mod will empower the bow for 15 seconds, with arrows applying Moonlight for three seconds. Hitting an enemy while under the effect of Moonlight will deploy a Moon Essence, which returns one arrow, heals 5% maximum health, and grants a 15% fire rate and reload speed for five seconds. Additionally, Basic Shots become Charged Shots while the mod is active. If you still manually charge the shots, they become two arrows.

Needless to say, the Crescent Moon bow is one of the best weapons you can find in the game. With that stellar mod, you shouldn’t have much issue fighting anything that can’t one-shot you outright.
