You may even have some odd jobs here and there asking you to do the same. To learn more, continue reading to discover how to dive for buried treasure in The Sims 4: Island Living.
How to Dive for Treasure in The Sims 4
To dive for treasure in The Sims 4, you’ll have to locate a deep water buoy in Sulani’s waters. Once you interact with this buoy, you can buy the Treasure Tool under Dive Gear for 1200 Simoleons, allowing your Sim to dive for treasure.
My go-to method for finding one of these buoys is to travel to the Ngata Residential lot in Sulani’s Lani St. Taz neighborhood. There’s a coral reef with a scuba diving buoy, with the deep water buoy just off to the side.
After finding a deep water buoy and buying the treasure tool, select it again and choose “Free Dive for Treasure” to begin your search!

Unfortunately, you’re not guaranteed to find treasure with each diving attempt. If your Sim doesn’t discover any treasure the first time, you can try again until you spot some. The rewards you’ll gain from successful attempts are typically worth anywhere between a few hundred to nearly 1000 Simoleons, depending on the item’s rarity.
With all that said, good luck on your deep-diving, treasure-seeking adventures!
