If you’re a huge fan of Generation 1 in Pokemon, there’s likely one hound that’s always had a piece of your heart. I’m talking, of course, about the six-foot-tall hound Arcanine. And for a limited time, you can get your own shiny Arcanine for free. Here’s how to redeem shiny Arcanine in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Redeem Shiny Arcanine in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

If you’re into competitive Pokemon, you know the name Paul Chua. He rocked up to the EU International Championship in 2023 and dominated the competition with his Arcanine. And now, for a limited time, you can get your own copy of this award-winning hound, from its shiny golden coat to its move set. Here’s how to get it:

• Load up Pokemon Scarlet or Violet.
• Open your main menu.
• Select ‘Poke Portal’.
• Select ‘Mystery Gift’ at the bottom of the menu.
• Select ‘Get with Code/Password’.
• Input the code: PAULEU1CW1N

And that’s it! Once you’ve entered the code, you’ll get a bright golden animation, and Arcanine will join your team.

This Arcanine will know Flare Blitz, Extreme Speed, Protect, and Will-O-Wisp. It will also come equipped with Safety Goggles and, of course, exceptional EVs.
